On March 23, the first flight from Hindon to Jammu took off at 9:30 AM. The return flight from Jammu is scheduled for 1:00 PM, arriving at Hindon Airport by 2:30 PM. This initiative is expected to significantly benefit travelers, especially during the Navratri season when the number of visitors to Vaishno Devi temple surges.
Additionally, a new flight service from Hindon to Bhubaneswar is set to commence on March 30, with ticket bookings already underway.

Air India Express has also started flights to Chennai from Hindon Airport. The inaugural Chennai-bound flight on March 22 saw a full house with 177 passengers onboard, while 172 travelers arrived from Chennai to Hindon. Currently, reserved seats in popular trains such as Swaraj Express, Malda Express, Shalimar Express, Shrishakti Express, Jammu Mail, Sampat Kranti Express, and Jhelum Express are unavailable until May 25.
