Vande Bharat In Rajasthan: Indian Railways is set to enhance rail connectivity in Rajasthan by introducing two new Vande Bharat Express trains. This major development will significantly improve travel time and convenience for passengers.
The North Western Railway has proposed these high-speed trains on the Bikaner-Delhi and Jaipur-Jodhpur routes, further strengthening Rajasthan’s transportation network as per Times Now report.

New Vande Bharat Train Routes in Rajasthan
The launch of these advanced semi-high-speed trains will bring a smoother and more efficient travel experience. The two proposed routes include:
– Bikaner to Delhi, via Churu, Ratangarh, and Loharu.
– Jaipur to Jodhpur, with a stop at Ajmer.
Additionally, authorities are considering extending the Jaipur-Jodhpur Vande Bharat train all the way to Delhi via Jaipur, which could further enhance connectivity.

Travel Time to Reduce Significantly
The introduction of these trains is expected to save considerable travel time:
The Bikaner-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will cut down the journey by 1.5 hours, making the trip between the two cities just 6 hours and 20 minutes.
Proposed Schedule for Bikaner-Delhi Vande Bharat
– Departure from Bikaner: 5:55 AM
– Arrival in Delhi: 12:15 PM
– Return from Delhi: 4:30 PM
– Arrival in Bikaner: 10:50 PM
The schedule for the Jaipur-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express is yet to be finalized. However, officials are also exploring the possibility of extending it to Delhi.
Boosting Rajasthan’s Rail Connectivity
This initiative is part of Indian Railways’ broader vision to connect major cities efficiently. The two new Vande Bharat trains will start operating once they receive final approval from the Ministry of Railways.
