Remember Pebble Watches, the wearables that came before the Apple Watch and allowed you to run them for weeks? Yes, those are back from the original creator but with a new company and a new name in 2025.
Eric Migicovsky is the founder of the OG Pebble brand and now his new company Core Devices is bringing Pebble hardware and platform with a new name. The Core 2 Duo (not the Intel processor) and the Core Time 2 will be available later this year but people in select regions can pre-book now.

Pebble Watches In 2025 With A Core Name: What It Offers
Migicovsky claims these new products are effectively the upgraded versions of the Pebble 2 that comes with the same long battery life promise. These watches run on the same Pebble OS-like interface but upgraded with new features like a coloured screen, speaker, and more premium materials for the Core 2 Time variant.

The Core 2 Duo gets a 1.26-inch Black and white display while the Time 2 comes with a 1.5-inch coloured panel which supports touch input. The Core Time 2 also includes a heart rate sensor and supports sleep tracking, which means the overall back up of 30 days might be a stretch. Both the models work with iPhone and Android devices but Apple’s 3rd party rules limit its feature support.
Going by the features, it is easy to tell that the Core 2 Duo comes cheaper at $149 (Rs 12,900 approx) while the Core Time 2 costs $225 (Rs 19,500 approx).
