OTT success and box office expectations
Despite earning over Rs 600 crore globally during its initial release, Salaar wasn’t deemed a major success due to its massive scale and production expenses. However, the film found a broader audience on OTT platforms, receiving widespread acclaim. The re-release seems poised to capitalise on this renewed appreciation.

Given the current momentum, Salaar is on track to surpass the day-one collection record for re-releases at the Indian box office. The current record is held by Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, which collected a net of Rs 5.75 crore on its first day. If the pace of ticket sales continues, Salaar could set a new benchmark.
