Recently, the Election Commission has told that many people have the same EPIC number. If the EPIC numbers of two voter cards are the same, then only one will be valid. Now you can check it sitting at home. You can check the EPIC number online to see if your voter card is real or fake. First of all, you have to go to the official website https://voters.eci.gov.in/.

After this, you have to click on “Search in Electoral Roll”. After this, three options will come in front of you. In this, you get the option to check the EPIC number through EPIC number, details and mobile number. After completing the whole process, the details of your EPIC number will come in front of you.

What is EPIC number?
Just like the Aadhar card, there are some numbers on the voter card as well. Which are different on every voter card. This is a special kind of number. Which has 10 alphanumeric characters. EPIC number is used to authenticate the identity of the voter. Let us tell you that currently there are around 100 crore registered voters in India. All these voters are issued different EPIC numbers. But still, some voters have the same EPIC numbers.
