Actor Aman Verma and wife Vandana Lalwani to part ways after nine years of marriage: Report

The entertainment world was hit with a wave of shock yesterday with the speculations surrounding the alleged divorce of Bollywood superstar Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja. Although the 90s icon and his family swiftly denied the rumours, another distressing update has emerged today regarding the separation of seasoned actor Aman Yatan Verma and his wife, actress Vandana Lalwani.

Aman Yatan Verma and Vandana Lalwani, who tied the knot in December 2016, are reportedly headed for a divorce. A source close to the couple revealed that despite their efforts to work through their issues, things had not improved.

A source mentioned to Times of India, “There have been issues between them for a while now. Despite their efforts to resolve their differences, things didn’t improve. They even planned to start a family, but their differences became too deep to reconcile. It was Vandana who decided to file for divorce,”

Aman and Vandana first met in 2014 during the shoot of the television show Hum Ne Li Hai – Shapath. Their relationship progressed quickly, with the couple getting engaged in 2015 and marrying the following year.

When approached for comment, Aman chose to remain silent and told Times of India, “No comment. Anything I need to say will be communicated through my lawyer at the appropriate time.”

Vandana also opted not to make any public statements.

Aman Yatan Verma is best known for his work in Indian television shows. He gained popularity with his charming personality and versatile anchoring skills.

He became widely recognised as the host of the popular quiz show Khullja Sim Sim, which was based on the international format of The Crystal Maze. His engaging style and wit made him a household name.

Aman is also known for his notable roles in several popular Indian television dramas, including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Teen Bahuraniyaan, and KumKum, where he portrayed characters that earned him recognition among television audiences. These shows helped establish his presence in the entertainment industry, and he became a well-known face on Indian television.

In addition to his television career, Aman appeared in several Bollywood films. He has been part of films such as Sangharsh, Pran Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye, Koi Hai, Jaane-E-Mann, and Baghban. While his roles in these films were generally supporting, they added to his diverse acting portfolio.
