Sonu Sood was summoned to the court to testify. However, when he failed to appear before the court, Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur issued an arrest warrant against the actor.
An arrest warrant has been issued against Bollywood actor Sonu Soon in connection to a Rs 10 lakh fraud case. As reported by the news agency ANI, the case has been filed by a Ludhiana-based lawyer Rajesh Khanna against one Mohit Shukla, in which he alleged that he was lured to invest in a fake Rijika coin.
Sonu Sood was summoned to the court to testify. However, when he failed to appear before the court, Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur issued an arrest warrant against the actor.
“Sonu Sood has been duly served with summon(s) or warrant(s) but he/she has failed to attend (absconds and keeps out of the way for the purpose of avoiding service of a summon(s) or warrant(s)). You are hereby ordered to arrest and bring the said Sonu Sood before the Court,” a part of the court order reads.

However, it should be noted that neither the actor nor his team has issued any statement either regarding the case or about the arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Sood was recently seen in Fateh. The actor made his directorial debut with the movie which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead.
Fateh stars Sonu Sood as Fateh Singh, an ex-special operations officer. The plot revolves around the officer’s job as a dairy farming supervisor in Punjab until a local girl falls victim to a cybercrime syndicate. Fateh Singh then teams up with Khushi Sharma (played by Jacqueline), an ethical hacker, to save Nimrit and bring down the cybercrime syndicate.
The high-octane action thriller Fateh is produced by Zed Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions. It clashed at the box office with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s Game Changer. However, Fateh managed to earn over Rs 12 crore at the box office.
