Bank Holidays in February 2025: According to the RBI list, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days this month on different days in different states
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a list of bank holidays for February 2025. Overall, banks will be closed for 14 days next month across different days on account of regional festivals. Advance knowledge of bank holidays in any particular month can help you better plan bank-related tasks.

As per the RBI list, banks in some states will remain closed in February for festivals such as Saraswati Puja, Guru Ravidas Jayanti, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Rajya Diwas, and Mahashivratri, among others. Along with these holidays, banks across the country will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
February 2 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed nationwide.
February 3 (Monday): Banks will be closed in Tripura for Vasant Panchami.
February 8 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed across the country for the second Saturday.
February 9 (Sunday): Banks will be closed nationwide.

February 11 (Tuesday): Banks in Tamil Nadu will be closed for the Thaipusam festival.
February 12 (Wednesday): Banks in Himachal Pradesh will be closed for Guru Ravidas Jayanti.
February 15 (Saturday): Banks in Manipur will remain closed for Lui-Ngai Ni.
February 16 (Sunday): Banks will be closed nationwide.
February 19 (Wednesday): Banks in Maharashtra will remain closed for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.
February 20 (Thursday): Banks in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh will be closed for their State Formation Day.
February 22 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed nationwide for the fourth Saturday.
February 23 (Sunday): Banks will be closed nationwide.
February 26 (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed for Mahashivratri in most states except Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, West Bengal, Delhi, Goa, Bihar, and Meghalaya.
February 28 (Friday): Banks in Gangtok will be closed for Losar.
Internet Banking & UPI
Bank holidays do not affect internet banking services. You can transfer money through internet banking or UPI as usual. If you need cash, you can withdraw money from ATMs, which remain operational 24/7 as bank holidays do not impact ATM services either.
