GATE 2025 Admit Card To Be Released Today At gate2025.iitr.ac, Steps To Download

GATE 2025 Admit Card: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, will release the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2025 today, January 7, 2025. Candidates who have registered for the examination can download the hall tickets through the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac, once out.

IIT Roorkee is scheduled to conduct the GATE 2025 examination on February 1, 2, 15, and February 16, 2025. GATE 2025 will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The duration of the exam will be three hours exam. It will be conducted in two sessions each day. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

GATE Admit Card 2025: Steps To Download

Step 1: Visi the official GATE website – gate2025.iitr.ac

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘GATE 2025 Admit Card’ link

Step 3: On the newly opened page, enter your login credentials like registration number and password

Step 4: Click on the submit button and your GATE 2025 hall ticket will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download the GATE 2025 admit card and take a printout for the exam day

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern

Each exam paper will be worth 100 marks, with 15 marks allocated to the General Aptitude section and the remaining 85 marks dedicated to the core papers. The marking scheme includes negative marks for wrong answers in the Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) section. However, there will be no negative marks for incorrect answers in Multiple-Select or Numerical Answer Type questions.

GATE is a national-level exam used to evaluate applicants for admission to master’s and doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, science, architecture, and humanities as well as for employment with certain public sector organisations. The exam will be administered on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee.
