YEIDA Plot Scheme: New Round Of Land Registration Near Jewar International Airport To Begin Soon; Check Details

The Yamuna Express Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch another residential plot scheme in the current financial year, with plots located in Sector 18, off the Yamuna Expressway. Registration for the scheme will commence soon with the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). This will be the third such scheme launched by the authority this year.

Earlier this year, YEIDA launched two residential plot schemes. In July, a scheme offering 363 plots attracted over two lakh applications. In November, a scheme for 451 plots received more than one lakh applications. The upcoming scheme aims to meet the growing demand for residential plots in the region.

The new scheme will utilise land in Sector 18 that was previously embroiled in legal disputes. The Yamuna Authority had launched a plot scheme in Sectors 18 and 20 back in 2009. However, many plots could not be developed due to court cases. With the disputes now resolved and possession of the land secured, the authority plans to launch the scheme on these previously unavailable plots.

Officials indicate that this scheme will likely saturate the residential sectors in the authority area. Future residential schemes will depend on land acquisition in newly planned sectors outlined in the Master Plan 2041. The authority has already initiated the process of acquiring land in these areas following the plan’s approval.

Meanwhile, the Greater Noida Authority has also launched a scheme for unsold residential plots from earlier projects. A total of 10 plots, ranging from 51.51 sqm to 500 sqm, will be allotted through e-auction. These plots are located in Sector-2, Delta-2 and Beta-2 of Greater Noida West. Registration is open until January 25, with the processing fee due by January 28.
