The month of January has 13 bank holidays. These include festivals, regional celebrations, Republic Day, and typical weekend leaves. Generally, banks are closed across the country on all Sundays and second and fourth Saturday. However, regional festival celebrations vary across states.

Will Banks Be Closed on Monday, Jan 6, 2025?
On Monday, banks in the Chandigarh area will remain closed for the public on the occasion of Sri Guru Gobind Singh’s Birthday. However, in rest of the country, it will be a regular working day for banks and customers will be able to access banking services without disruption.
