Housing Locations
It is estimated that the new MHADA homes will be available in prominent Mumbai areas, including Andheri, Juhu, Goregaon, Kandivali, Borivali, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Powai, Tardeo, and Sion.
MHADA’s Mumbai and Konkan divisions typically hold lotteries twice a year. However, competition for these homes is fierce. Even a lottery for 400–500 homes attracts lakhs of applications. Consequently, there is significant anticipation surrounding the release of this year’s MHADA lottery application dates.

Rising Prices of MHADA Homes
The increasing prices of MHADA homes have become a pressing issue for the common people in recent years. Recently, the few MHADA homes available through the lottery have been priced in crores, raising concerns about affordability. This often leads to the question of how ordinary people can afford homes at such high prices. Many are keen to see whether this year’s Mumbai lottery will bring more affordable options for prospective buyers.
