IndusInd Bank
IndusInd Bank plans to sell nearly Rs 1,500 crore worth of bad loans, including more than 1 million microloans with a ticket size anywhere between Rs 5,000 and Rs 40,000, to asset reconstruction companies (ARCs), in a bid to arrest deterioration in its asset quality. The bank has nearly 1.06 million microloan accounts of farmers spread across the country and is looking to transfer them under the all-cash deal, told a source to Financial Express.
Religare Enterprises
In a setback to the Burman family, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has stayed the approval granted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for making an open offer to acquire an additional 26% stake in Religare Enterprises as well as the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled for December 31.

Reliance Power
The Delhi High Court has granted interim relief to Reliance Power’s subsidiary, Reliance NU BESS, in a petition pertaining to disqualification from participating in three bids solely on the ground of the debarment order dated November 6, issued by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), against the petitioner.

RBL Bank has sold its entire 8.16% stake in DAM Capital Advisors Limited through an offer for sale (OFS) after the latter’s initial public offering (IPO), held from December 19 to 23, 2024. The transaction, amounting to Rs 163.32 crore (excluding taxes and related expenses), was disclosed by the bank in an exchange filing.
Larsen & Toubro
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) expects its construction and mining machinery business to grow at least 20% in the next fiscal year with the company planning to double sales in the next five years. In an interview to PTI, Arvind K Garg, Senior Vice President and head of L&T’s Construction and Mining Machinery business, said, “If you ask me what the plan for the coming fiscal year is, definitely our construction and mining machinery business will grow at least 20%.”
