Why Activate UAN?

Activating UAN offers employees seamless access to EPFO’s online services, which include managing Provident Fund (PF) accounts, downloading PF passbooks, submitting online claims for withdrawals, advances, or transfers, updating personal information, and tracking claims in real-time. These services eliminate the need for physical visits to EPFO offices, offering 24/7 convenience to employees.

Looking ahead, the ministry announced plans to incorporate advanced biometric authentication, including face-recognition technology, for UAN activation.

“Using Aadhaar as an identity document simplifies government delivery processes, enhances transparency and efficiency, and ensures beneficiaries receive their entitlements seamlessly.
