Former PM Manmohan Singh Admitted To AIIMS Delhi After Health Deteriorates

Former prime minister Manmohan Singh has been admitted to AIIMS Delhi after his health deteriorated on Thursday, news agency PTI reported quoting sources.

Singh, 92, was admitted to the emergency department of the hospital.

The reason for his hospitalisation was not immediately known, sources said.

According to his office, the former Prime Minister is facing “extreme breathlessness” and has been shifted to the ICU.

Former Rajasthan chief minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot expressed concerns over the former PM’s health and wished him speedy recovery.

“Deeply concerned about the health of Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh ji. Wishing him a speedy recovery and good health,” he posted on X.
