Vijay Deverakonda, rumoured to be dating his Dear Comrade co-star Rashmika Mandanna, shared that he understands the curiosity about his personal life, and that he will talk about it when he is ready.

Vijay Deverakonda has finally addressed ongoing relationship rumours with his Dear Comrade co-star Rashmika Mandanna. While the actor did not mention Rashmika’s name, he said that he will happily share about his relationship when he is ready. However, he said that there needs to be a reason, purpose and time for it. He further added that he understands the curiosity around his personal life, but he feels no pressure to talk about it.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Vijay Deverakonda said, “I will talk about it when I am ready, when I think that the world needs to know, and I want to share it with everyone. There needs to be a reason, a purpose and a time for it. So, on such a day, I will happily share it with the world in my way.” He further added that he understands there is curiosity around an actor’s personal life. “When you’re a public figure, it’s part of the job. There’s a lot of curiosity, but I don’t feel any pressure. I read it as news. Only once I felt the need to respond (hinting at the time when he posted an Instagram story reacting to a report about his wedding), but otherwise, it’s alright,” he added.

For the unversed, earlier this year, the Liger actor clarified that he is neither getting engaged nor getting married. Reacting to rumours about his wedding with Rashmika Mandanna, he told Lifestyle Asia, “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”
Meanwhile, in his recent interview with Bombay Times, he also spoke about his idea of love. He revealed that when he loves, he does have certain expectations. He said that he also realizes that he has to live with some expectations from the person he loves. “I don’t know if something called unconditional love exists. If it does, it exists along with pain. If you love someone unconditionally, there will be some sadness and pain that you carry to be able to do that,” he added.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have worked together in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam, and the 2019 film Dear Comrade. A few days ago, Vijay Devarakonda launched the teaser of Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘The Girlfriend’. The teaser also features a voice-over by him.
