Kotak Mahindra Bank revises charges for its 811 bank account holders, ATM transaction limits for these debit cards

Kotak Mahindra Bank has informed its customers that some of the general features and charges will be changed with effect from February 1, 2025. The bank also informed its customers about making revisions to the free ATM transaction limits for specified debit cards issued by the bank. These revised rules for free ATM transaction limits will also be applicable from February 1, 2025.

Revision of charges for Kotak811 accounts

Kotak Mahindra Bank in its email communication to its account holders stressed the fact that the mentioned charges are applicable to 811 Savings Account customers under scheme 811 EDGE, 811 Limited KYC and 811 Full KYC account variants only.

“Thank you for being our valuable Kotak811 customer. This is to inform you about an important update regarding your GSFC (General Schedule of Features and Charges) to ensure you have a seamless experience with our services. GSFC charges will be applicable from 1st February’25,” said Kotak Mahindra Bank in its email communication to its customers.

Revision of free ATM transaction limit for these Kotak Mahindra debit cards

Kotak Mahindra Bank said that the free ATM transaction limit that is the number of times you can withdraw money from an ATM each month with zero cost will be revised with effect from February 1, 2025.

Beyond the free ATM transaction limits, Kotak Mahindra Bank said, financial transactions are to be charged at Rs 21 per transaction and non-financial transactions at Rs 8.5 per transaction. International financial transactions will be charged at Rs 150 per transaction and international non-financial transactions at Rs 25 per transaction.

“In case you hold multiple cards with the same card type, each card type (not each card holding) will have its own free ATM withdrawal limit. This will not impact you if you do not hold more than one Debit Card,” Kotak Mahindra Bank said in the email.
