- Submission Methods:Pensioners can submit their life certificate both online and offline through:
- Online pension portal
- E-mitra centers
- Biometric methods
- Treasuries, sub-treasuries, and pension offices
- Post offices and banks
- Signed Submission:Pensioners can also submit the certificate after getting it signed by a gazetted officer.
- Government Employees Assistance:Government officers and employees can submit the certificate on the portal using their SSO ID.
✅ Why It’s Important:
The Jeevan Pramaan Patra is a digital biometric-enabled life certificate required to ensure that the pensioner is alive and eligible for continued pension. Failure to submit by January 31, 2025, will result in the pension being stopped from February 2025. However, once submitted, the pension and any pending amounts will be credited back.
