Mahtari Vandana Yojana: Women will get Rs 25,000 under this government scheme, know the details

The Chhattisgarh government is going to start a new initiative under the Mahtari Vandana Yojana. In this, women will get Rs 25,000. However, this amount will be given to women as a lump sum loan. Now also get to know the name of this scheme. The name of this scheme is ‘Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana’.

What is the objective of the scheme?

This initiative has been started by Chhattisgarh Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary. State Rural Bank Chairman Vinod Arora was also present on the occasion of the launch of the scheme. To avail of the benefits of this scheme, women must have an account in the State Rural Bank. The Finance Minister discussed various aspects of the scheme during this launch event. He said, “This initiative is an important step towards increasing the economic power of the mothers and sisters of the state.”

Loans up to Rs 25 thousand will be available.

During this, State Rural Bank Chairman Arora, while explaining the benefits of the scheme, said that mothers and sisters who have accounts in the State Rural Bank receiving funds from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana can get a loan of up to Rs 25 thousand without any formality to start self-employment. This program will be overseen by the Rural State Bank.

Regarding this initiative, the government said that the goal of the Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme is to make women in rural areas self-reliant and increase their economic empowerment. This program will not only give financial strength to women but will also connect them with self-employment opportunities. Let us tell you that before this election in the state, the BJP had pledged to give Rs 1000 every month to the women of Chhattisgarh through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Which the government is currently implementing. Currently, 70 lakh women of the state are benefiting from this program.
