Previously, on Thursday, the NSE Nifty 50 closed the session 241 points or 0.98% higher at 24,708, while the BSE Sensex rose 809 points or 1% to close at 81,766.

Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea plans to raise Rs 2,000 crore through equity shares and/or convertible securities issuance on a preferential basis to one or more entities belonging to UK-based Vodafone Group. The board will meet on December 9 to consider the proposal for the issue, the company said in a filing to the exchanges.

Nykaa Fashion on Thursday announced that its Chief Executive Officer Nihir Parikh has resigned and has been relieved with immediate effect. Nykaa Fashion is the fashion vertical of FSN E-commerce Ventures Ltd.

Raymond Lifestyle announced that Gautam Hari Singhania has been appointed as the company’s executive chairman despite objection by the proxy advisory firms. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories said the Kazakhstan Revenue Authority has levied a penalty of Rs 28.7 lakh on its subsidiary.
