The Mahakumbh Fair, set to officially commence on December 13, promises an extraordinary fusion of spirituality and cultural festivities. Pilgrims from across India and the world will gather to take a sacred dip at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. Adding to the experience, devotees can look forward to captivating performances by celebrated Bollywood singers, starting January 10, 2025.
Among those performing at the grand event will be ace singers and composers such as Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Sonu Nigam, Vishal Bhardwaj, Richa Sharma, Jubin Nautiyal and Shreya Ghoshal. According to the plan, these performances will be held at the specially built Ganga Pandal at the fair area. It has a seating capacity of 10,000 people. The cultural shows will be organised between 4 pm and 8 pm on the scheduled days.
As per the schedule, the series of performances will be kicked off by singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan, who will showcase his skills at the pandal on January 10 to leave fans mesmerised. It will be followed by renowned folk singer Malini Awasthi’s appearance on January 11, when she will delight the audience with her melodious renditions.

The next performance is scheduled for January 18, featuring Kailash Kher, renowned for his soulful devotional melodies. Following this, Sonu Nigam is set to entertain the audience on January 19, as confirmed by the officials.
Besides, other artists set to perform during Mahakumbh 2025 are Maithili Thakur (January 20), Kavita Paudwal (January 31), Vishal Bhardwaj (February 1) and Richa Sharma (February 2). The cultural extravaganza will continue with breathtaking performances by Jubin Nautiyal (February 8), Rasika Shekhar (February 10), Hansraj Raghuwanshi (February 14) and Shreya Ghoshal (February 24). With such legendary names coming together to elevate the spiritual and devotional ambiance at the event, the grand affair is poised to become a memorable show of cultural significance.
It needs to be noted that the entire event has been organised by the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. While these artists are confirmed to participate in the cultural festival, efforts will be made to find other singers depending on their availability, as reported by officials.
