Priyanka Chopra will announce her Bollywood comeback film next year.
It has been a while since Priyanka Chopra was seen in a Hindi film. Her last stint was The Sky Is Pink in 2019. Since then, the actress has been keeping herself busy with Hollywood projects. While there was buzz that she is set to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, the film has been delayed indefinitely. Amid this, Priyanka Chopra recently teased that she will soon make her comeback in Bollywood and has an interesting project in her kitty.
While speaking to HT City, Priyanka Chopra said she will announce her Bollywood comeback film in 2025. “Not joking, I meet many filmmakers here, read scripts. I have actively been looking for something I want to do in Hindi. This year was really busy for me. But I have something up my sleeve, I will leave it at that,” she said.
When asked if she was hinting at Jee Le Zara with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, she said, “You will need to speak to Excel (Entertainment, Farhan Akhtar’s production house) about that.” This has created quite a buzz among Priyanka Chopra’s fans.

Jee Le Zara was announced in 2021 and created a lot of anticipation due to its stellar casting coup. However, the film faced several delays, with the dates of the actors becoming an issue. However, Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar have assured that the film has not been shelved and there is active effort being made to align everyone’s schedules.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra wrapped up the shoot of her highly anticipated sequel to the Prime Video series Citadel. “A few days late, but I’ve been on a roller coaster. We wrapped Citadel season 2!! This year has been a whirlwind for me, but to be surrounded by so much love and support makes everything easier. I’m so grateful to the cast and crew, and especially my team, who propped me up. Now… I’m Diving into the holiday season. Sound on,” she shared on Instagram. Priyanka Chopra also will appear in Heads of State, co-starring Idris Elba and John Cena. She also has The Bluff in the pipeline.
