The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for very heavy showers in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Puducherry, Yanam, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Dense Fog Alert
The IMD has warned that there will be dense fog conditions during the late night and early morning hours in isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh till November 29. Similar weather patterns will be prevalent over Chandigarh, Haryana, and Punjab till November 30 and Uttar Pradesh might get it till December 1.
Delhi/NCR Weather Update
Air quality level is under the severe category as it was recorded to be at 351 AQI level on Thursday morning. Delhi and the National Capital Region are expected to have mainly clear skies. During the morning time, the surface wind is expected to flow from the east with a speed of less than 4km/hr and it will also have smog as well as fog.

Rainfall Prediction
Light to moderate downpours accompanied by thunderstorms is expected to take place in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu on November 28.
The Met Department has also notified that there is the possibility of isolated heavy showers over Puducherry and Coastal Andhra Pradesh from December 1 and December 2, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to get it from November 28 to November 30, Kerala and Mahe from November 28 to 30.

IMD’s temperature forecast
As per the Weather Department, no major changes in minimum temperatures are anticipated in East India for the next couple of days. A further drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the temperature is expected for the next 2-3 days. Northwest and Central India temperatures are predicted to remain stable for the next five days.
