Utpanna Ekadashi 2024: In Hinduism, Utpanna Ekadashi Vrat holds great significance. It is observed on the 11th day of the bright half of the Margashirsha month. – Refrain from consuming masoor dal: Avoid eating masoor dal on Dashami to ensure a smooth Ekadashi fast.
– Abstain from touching or consuming meat or Tamasic items: Refrain from any contact with meat or meat products on Dashami. Additionally, avoid consuming Tamasic items like onion and garlic.
– Avoid eating chana: Refrain from consuming chana (chickpeas) on Dashami.
– Do not consume kodo or varagu rice: Avoid eating kodo or varagu rice on Dashami.

2. Stay awake and alert: Avoid sleeping during the day to maintain a state of spiritual awareness and devotion.

7. Do not steal or take what’s not yours: Respect others’ property and refrain from taking anything that doesn’t belong to you.
