CBSE Single Child Scholarship 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has begun accepting registrations for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 today, November 22. Students who qualify may register for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 and Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 (renewal) on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
The scholarship costs Rs 500 every month. Candidates must submit their bank information, such as their name, account number, RTGS, NEFT, IFSC code, and bank address. All applications must be verified by the candidates; unsigned submissions will be discarded.
CBSE Single Child Scholarship 2024: Registration deadline
The date for submitting the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2024 is December 23. The necessary paperwork is an authenticated copy of the Class 11 mark sheet, a copy of the Aadhaar (connected to the applicant’s bank account), and a duly documented copy of the bank passbook or cancelled check.
Eligible candidates can apply under the following schemes:
– Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2024 Scheme: This scholarship is available to single girl children who completed Class 10 in 2024 and are now enrolled in Class 11 in CBSE-affiliated schools.
– Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 (Renewal 2024) Scheme: This initiative allows renewal submissions from students who received the scholarship in 2023.

CBSE Single Child Scholarship 2024: Eligibility criteria
Students can view the CBSE Single Child Scholarship 2024 eligibility requirements below.
– The award is reserved only for deserving single female students who are their parents’ only child.
– Candidates must have obtained 60% or above marks in the CBSE Class X Examination.
– Candidates must currently be in Class 11 or 12 at a CBSE-affiliated school.
– The school’s tuition fees should not exceed Rs 1,500 per month during the academic year.
– For the next two years, tuition costs can grow by no more than 10% every year.
– NRI candidates are qualified, with a tuition cost cap of Rs 6,000 per month for schools overseas.
– The scholarship is solely available to Indian nationals.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship: How to apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2024 REG’ and then on the designated scholarship application link.
Step 3: After this, select the type of application — fresh or renewal and click on SGC-X fresh application or renewal.
Step 4: Next, fill out the application form, upload documents and then submit the Single Girl Child Scholarship application.
Step 5: Download the application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Under the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme, pupils would receive Rs 500 every month. The monthly tuition fee must not exceed Rs 1,500 per month in Class 10, with a 10% increase in Class 11 and 12.
