Delhi elections: AAP releases 1st list of 11 candidates, fields turncoats
AAP candidate list: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday released its first list of 11 candidates for the 2025 Delhi elections, fielding BJP and Congress turncoats.

Former BJP leaders Brahm Singh Tanwar, Anil Jha and BB Tyagi as well as former Congress leaders Chaudhry Zubair Ahmad, Veer Singh Dhingan and Somesh Shaukeen, who joined AAP recently have been included in the list, ANI reported.
The Delhi assembly polls are likely to be held early next year. Making an early bird announcement, AAP has fielded candidates on 11 out of 70 assembly seats.
Brahma Singh Tanwar will contest from the Chhatarpur seat while Anil Jha will be the AAP candidate from the Kiradi seat. Deepak Singhla will contest in Vishwas Nagar and Sarita Singh in Rohtas Nagar. BB Tyagi has been named AAP candidate in Laxmi Nagar and Ram Singh Netaji in Badarpur.

Meanwhile, AAP has fielded Zubair Chaudhary from Seelampur and Veer Singh Dhingan from Seemapuri. Gaurav Sharma will contest in Ghonda and Manoj Tyagi has been picked as a candidate in Karawal Nagar. Somesh Shaukeen will be AAP’s candidate from Matiala.
The ruling party has fielded six turncoats, three each from BJP and Congress.
