The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show (TGIKS) was a memorable one as it featured Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife, along with Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Geeta Basra, as guests. This episode marked Sidhu’s return to the show after a five-year hiatus, a moment the show’s creators dubbed the ‘biggest surprise’ of the season. Navjot Singh Sidhu’s reappearance on TGIKS was met with much excitement and nostalgia. Sidhu, who had been a staple on the show, left in 2019, and his comeback was a significant moment for both the audience and the show’s cast. The episode was filled with laughter and heartfelt moments, especially with the comedic performances of Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur, who impersonated Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol, respectively.
Just like the previous season, this season will also consist of 13 episodes.

During their segment, the trio accidentally revealed that the season is just four episodes away from concluding. Krushna, in his role as Dharmendra, humorously interrogated Sidhu about his whereabouts over the years. He joked about searching for Sidhu in various places, saying, “I went to Pondicherry, Telangana, Chikkamagaluru, but you were nowhere to be found.” Rajiv, as Bobby Deol, quipped, “Why didn’t you go to Punjab?” to which Krushna replied, “If I had found him, how could I have done this emotional drama? Besides, we only have four episodes left.”
Kiku, playing Sunny Deol, continued the jest with Harbhajan Singh. Krushna interrupted, saying that all these queries had already been addressed to the guests. In a comical twist, Kiku responded, “Papa, I only have four episodes left too.” This led to Rajiv Thakur breaking down in mock tears, adding, “I’m not crying because I have four episodes left; I’m crying because I’ve only done four episodes.”
The current season of TGIKS, which began in September, has seen many popular and influential personalities as guests. The inaugural episode featured Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, and Karan Johar. Throughout the season, the show has welcomed stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rohit Sharma, Kartik Aaryan, Shalini Passi, Jr NTR, Kajol, Kriti Sanon, Narayana Murthy, Sudha Murthy, and Vidya Balan, among others.
