Rakesh Roshan revealed the real reason he has not worked with Ajay Devgn following his exit from Karan Arjun.
Karan Arjun has one of the wildest casting stories. Before Salman Khan and Shah Rukh were roped in, director Rakesh Roshan had offered the role of Karan to Ajay Devgn. Although this attempt failed, Rakesh Roshan told News18 Showsha exclusively that he had approached Ajay Devgn for a role in Krrish 3.

No, it wasn’t the titular role but Rakesh had envisioned him in the role of Kaal, the villain in the film. However, Ajay turned it down and it eventually landed in Vivek Oberoi’s kitty. Rakesh revealed Ajay turned down the offer to play the baddie because he felt, as a hero, he cannot be killed by another hero.
“We never got a chance to work together. I couldn’t make a film in which I could cast him. He’s a very fine actor. In every film, he leaves a very big impact. I want to work with him but I am not getting a chance. I did go to him for Krrish 3 to play Vivek Oberoi’s role,” Rakesh revealed.
