The stock exchanges will continue regular trading from Monday, November 18.

Apart from these, there is one more trading holiday on the stock exchanges – Christmas. The bourses will observe the holiday on December 25.
Last time, the exchanges were closed on account of Laxmi Pujan, which was on November 01. However, a small trading window of one hour was specially organised in the evening by the exchanges.

Indian equity indices continued to bathe in red on Thursday, November 15. The Nifty 50 closed 0.11% lower at 23,532.70 while the Sensex closed 0.14% lower at 77,580.
However, the Bank Nifty and Nifty Midcap 100 bucked the trend closing in the green. The Bank Nifty closed 91 points or 0.18% at 50,179.55 and Nifty Midcap 100 closed the session 242 points or 0.45% higher at 54,043.
