Taj Mahal Free Entry Day 2024 Dates: World Heritage Week begins on November 19, and all Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) protected monuments in Agra will be open to tourists for free. During this time, guests have free entry to the Taj Mahal, except the Rs 200 fee for accessing the main dome. Several events will also be held in various areas to enhance the tourist experience.

Along with the Taj Mahal, entry will be free to Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, and other historic sites on November 19.
The World Heritage Week will begin at the Sitaram Temple in Soronji, marking it the first time the program will be launched from this location.

In a statement about the programme, archaeologist Dr Rajkumar Patel said that a photography exhibition highlighting Ramayana events will be exhibited in various sites and structures around the country. The show will include depictions from the Gupta period to the present day. In addition, a public facilities centre will be established at the Sitaram Temple for the convenience of visitors.
Atranjikhera will host a variety of events, with Ramayana-themed exhibitions serving as a highlight. This is the first time World Heritage Week has been launched from a protected monument, to inform more tourists about the sites’ history and value.

Visitors from all around the world can enjoy free entrance to the magnificent Taj Mahal. If you want to see its splendor, consider visiting Agra between November 19 and November 25, when entry is free.
From Delhi, passengers can take a bus or drive to Agra. From Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate, a number of buses travel to Agra every day. A train can be a more practical choice if one is traveling from another state.
