Delhi Pollution News: Temperatures in North India have dropped significantly over the past two days. With the onset of winter, a thick layer of fog has settled over the region. On Thursday, the national capital Delhi recorded its coldest morning of the season, with temperatures dipping to 11.2°C. Additionally, the smog mixing with the fog has further reduced visibility.
Due to the fog and safety measures, train services were severely disrupted on Thursday. Several long-distance trains heading to Delhi were delayed by several hours, causing considerable inconvenience to passengers. Departure times for these trains were also rescheduled.

Local trains faced delays ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, further complicating the daily commute for office-goers travelling by train in Delhi.
The Anand Vihar Terminal-Dibrugarh festival special train departed at 9 AM on Thursday, with a delay of 13 hours. The New Delhi-Banaras Kashi Vishwanath train departed at 6:40 PM, with a delay of about 7 hours. The New Delhi-Dibrugarh Hamsafar Express departed at 5:55 PM, with a delay of nearly 5.5 hours. The New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar special train departed at 4:00 PM, with a delay of nearly 2.5 hours, and the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Duronto departed at 2:30 PM, with a delay of about 2 hours.
Further, the Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Clone Express will depart at 11 AM with a delay of 2.25 hours. The Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Superfast Special will depart at 12 PM with a delay of 4 hours. The Anand Vihar Terminal-Danapur Festival Special will depart at 12 PM with a delay of 8 hours. The Hazrat Nizamuddin-Madurai Sampark Kranti Express will depart at 5:25 PM with a delay of 12 hours.
