Rohit Shetty revealed that he frequently receives requests for a sequel to All The Best, which has gained a cult status over the years.
Rohit Shetty is behind several successful comedy and action films in Bollywood. From the Golmaal franchise to the action-packed cop series, the filmmaker has never failed to entertain the audience. Among his memorable comedy films, one such is the 2009 All the Best, which still makes viewers laugh out loud. In a recent interview, Rohit revealed that he frequently receives requests for a sequel to All the Best, which has gained a cult status over the years.
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Rohit Shetty said, “I have been giving interviews and meeting youngsters and suddenly All The Best is becoming like a cult. People asked me, ‘Why aren’t you making All The Best? Dhondhu, don’t just chill like that.’”
The 2009 film stars Ajay Devgn, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. During the same interview, Ajay Devgn also quipped that All The Best was indeed a “very funny film.” Ajay Devgn played the lead role of Prem Chopra whereas Fardeen Khan was cast as Veer Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt played Veer’s elder brother, Dharam Kapoor. Bipasha Basu portrayed the character of Ajay Devgn’s wife.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty’s newly released film Singham Again is doing well at the box office. The cop drama, starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in theatres. So far, the film has earned about Rs 173 crore in India and nearly Rs 262.5 crore globally, as per Sacnilk.

While the Singham franchise has been a successful venture for the director, he recently hinted at a possible standalone film starring two renowned police officers in Bollywood: Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham and Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg. When asked about the possibility of a collaboration between these two characters, Rohit Shetty told Pinkvilla, “It’s just been a week since the film (Singham Again) has been released. Give me some time. It will take time. That has to be standalone.” Interestingly, Salman Khan has a special cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
