Char Dham Yatra In Uttarakhand: In India, the Char Dham Yatra is considered to be among the holiest pilgrimages. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are the four sacred sanctuaries that must be visited. The yatra is traditionally carried out in a clockwise manner, starting from Yamunotri, going to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and ending at Badrinath.

These temples are very important: Badrinath is devoted to Lord Vishnu, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Gangotri is dedicated to Goddess Ganga, and Yamunotri is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Badrinath Closing Date
On November 17, 2024, at 9:07 PM, the Badrinath Temple, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu, will lock its doors. According to custom, the closure date and hour were set on Vijayadashami, taking into account the Hindu calendar and astronomical alignments.
Kedarnath Closing Date
Kedarnath, the renowned shrine devoted to Lord Shiva, locked its doors on November 3, 2024, at 8:30 AM. Kedarnath, located in the Garhwal Himalayas, is one of the most visited temples during the Char Dham Yatra.
Yamunotri Closing Date
The Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna, closed on November 3, 2024, which coincided with the auspicious date of Bhai Dooj. Priest Rawal Ashish Uniyal verified the date, stating that the temple would reopen after winter is over.
Gangotri Closing Date
The Gangotri Temple closed for the winter season on November 2, 2024, at 12:14 PM.
