After Lots of speculation, Prasanth Varma Revealed the first Look of Jai Hanuman and fans have some exciting news to celebrate. He has announced that Rishab Shetty, the National Award-winning actor and filmmaker known for the Kannada hit Kantara (2022), will star in the sequel, Jai Hanuman.
The announcement came during the Diwali festivities, along with Rishab’s first look, where he is seen kneeling with an idol of Lord Ram in what looks like an abandoned temple. Jai Hanuman is the second film in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, known for big hits like Janatha Garage (2016), Rangasthalam (2018), Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022), and Pushpa: The Rule (2024).

Taking to X, Prashanth wrote, “In the spirit of Diwali and the guiding light of the divine ✨ Honored to be teaming up with National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty sir and the prestigious Mythri Movie Makers to bring our grand vision #JaiHanuman 🙏🏽. Hanu-Man was the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024, making over Rs 300 crore. It stars Teja Sajja as a superhero and is part of Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which focuses on mythological superheroes. Prasanth is also working on an untitled film about Lord Indra, featuring Mokshagna, son of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.
