Bank Holiday In November 2024: Banks will remain closed for 13 days in November 2024 on account of several national and regional festivals as well as weekly off on Saturdays and Sundays. The holidays include major festivals like Diwali Amavasya (Lakshmi Puja), Kannada Rajyotsava, Kut Mahotsav, Vikram Samvat New Year, Balipadyami, Chhath Puja and Wangala Festival. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of these holidays on its website concerning the states. On account of public holidays, all scheduled and non-scheduled banks will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays.

Bank Holiday List in November 2024

November 1- Banks will remain closed for Diwali Amavasya (Lakshmi Puja), in various state

November 2- There will be a holiday for Diwali (Bali Pratipada)

November 3- Banks will remain closed on Sunday

November 7-8-  Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Chhath Puja in Bihar, and Eastern Uttar Pradesh

November 9- Banks will be closed on the second Saturday

November 10- There will be a holiday on Sunday

November 12- Banks will remain closed on Aigas-Bagwal

November 15- Banks across various states will remain closed on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti

November 17- There will be a holiday on Sunday

November 18: Banks will remain closed on Kanakadas Jayanti in various states

November 23: Banks will remain closed for Senge Kutsnem, the fourth Saturday

November 24: There will be a holiday on Sunday

Holidays in November

Various festivals associated with Diwali will be celebrated in different states. Similarly, Chhath Puja, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kanakadas Jayanti and Senge Kutsnem are also celebrated on a local basis.
