Reliance Jio has launched its JioBharat Diwali Dhamaka campaign, aimed at enhancing connectivity for 2G users across India. In a festive gesture, Jio is offering its JioBharat 4G phones at a heavily discounted price of just Rs 699, down from the original price of Rs 999. This limited-time offer is designed to ensure that everyone can connect with their loved ones seamlessly during the holiday season.

In addition to the pricing, Jio is introducing a competitive monthly tariff plan priced at Rs 123 as well. This plan offers unlimited voice calls, allowing users to stay in touch without worrying about call charges, 14 GB of data per month, access to over 455 Live TV channels, offering a variety of entertainment options, from news to sports, exclusive movie premieres and the latest films, Live sports coverage, highlights on JioCinema, the ability to make and receive digital payments through JioPay, including QR code scanning, group chat features and sharing capabilities on JioChat.

When compared to other operators, the company claims that its JioBharat plan is significantly more affordable. For example, the lowest feature phone plan from competitors is priced at Rs 199 per month, making Jio’s offering nearly 40% cheaper. Users can save around Rs 76 every month, effectively allowing them to recover the phone’s cost in just nine months, says the company.
A separate Jio Diwali Dhamaka offer also offers customers with valuable gift vouchers on select recharge plans. It also includes a one-year JioAirFiber subscription as a giveaway. Under this, Jio customers can take advantage of gift vouchers by recharging with two specific prepaid plans priced at Rs 899 and Rs 3,599. The Jio Rs 899 plan is valid for 3 months and offers 2GB of data per day, plus an additional 20GB of data, totalling 200GB throughout its validity. Users also get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS daily, free national roaming, and unlimited 5G access. The Jio Rs 3,599 plan is an annual plan which includes 2.5GB of daily data, 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calls, national roaming, and 5G benefits. Customers recharging with either of the plans will receive special vouchers worth up to Rs 3,350. The voucher pack includes travel discount, shopping voucher and food voucher. This offer is valid until November 5, 2024.
