Last date to apply for the JEE Main 2025 January session is November 22, 2024.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 schedule. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 in two sessions — January and April. JEE Main 2025 January exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted between January 22 to January 31, 2025.

The registration process for the JEE Main 2025 January session has commenced on October 28 and candidates can apply until November 22, 2024. Candidates can check the full schedule for JEE Main 2025 on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can also find the detailed schedule below.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern
JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 which is common for BE/Btech courses will comprise of 75 questions for 300 marks. Section A will have 60 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and 15 questions in section B, for which numerical values can be used to answer. The question paper will be conducted for 3 hours in CBT mode. Candidates must note that the NTA has changed the JEE Main paper pattern to its pre-COVID-19 format and section B now has only 5 questions, of which are all compulsory.
JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages, that is, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

JEE Main 2025: Application Fees
According to the official notification, candidates who wish to apply only for Session 1 (January 2025), then they have the option to choose to pay the exam fee for just the first session. The candidates will be allowed to apply for Session 2 (April 2025) separately (using the same application number) along with the fee payment.
However, if a candidate wishes to apply for Session 2 (April 2025), the candidate can log in and pay the examination fee for Session 2 during that period. If a candidate wishes to apply only for Session 2 (April 2025), he can register later, when the application form for Session 2 (April 2025) is active. The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened by the NTA and notified separately through a public notice.
