The MTC launched the Staff Mobile App on February 29, 2024, making it easier for drivers and conductors to request leave. The auto-approval will follow a first-come, first-served basis, with up to 6 percent of the total workforce at each depot allowed to take leave at one time. If staff do not qualify for automatic leave approval, their requests will be reviewed by the branch manager.
This initiative aims to improve attendance and ensure smoother operations within the MTC.
