Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has issued a new order regarding the submission of the Annual Life Certificate for pensioners who retired on or after April 1, 2023. This initiative aims to streamline the pension process and ensure timely disbursement.
Starting April 1, 2023, KVS launched the e-Pension portal, which allows pensioners to submit their Life Certificates easily. Pensioners can submit their certificates by visiting their nearest Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Regional Offices (RO), or Zonal Institutes of Educational Technology (ZIET), as well as through various online options like the Jeevan Pramaan Application and nearby Indian Bank branches.
To speed up the process, KVS Principals will transmit the Life Certificates directly to the Central Pension Processing Center (CPPC) of Indian Bank using the e-Pension portal. Each Principal will need a digital signature to facilitate this process.
Deputy Commissioners and Directors are urged to inform all pensioners who retired after April 1, 2023, about these submission options. KVs should be prepared to assist pensioners who come to submit their Life Certificates.
