A helicopter crashed into a radio tower in the US state of Texas on Sunday night, with reports about casualties remaining unclear. The crash occurred at around 7:54 p.m. local time in the city of Houston, according to officials.
The Houston Fire Department responded to the incident near an intersection close to Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros, CBC News reported.

“PIO is en route to a reported helicopter crash at Engelke & Ennis. Preliminary information is that a helicopter hit a radio tower at about 7:54 p.m. No details yet on injuries/fatalities. All further information will come from the scene,” Houston fire department said in a post on social media platform X.
There is no information on the number of people on board or whether there were any fatalities or injuries resulting from the crash.
