UPSC ESE 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the UPSC ESE 2025, including both the Engineering Services Preliminary and Mains Examinations. The ESE Preliminary 2025 will now be held on June 8, 2025, and the ESE Mains on August 10, 2025. Previously, the prelims were scheduled for February 2, 2025, and the mains for June 22, 2025. The Commission has postponed the UPSC Engineering Services Examination and will reopen the application window following the government’s decision to recruit for the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) through both the Civil Services Examination (for Traffic, Accounts, and Personnel sub-cadres) and the Engineering Services Examination (for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunication, and Stores sub-cadres).

The application window reopened on October 18 and will remain open until November 22, 2024. A correction window will be available from November 23 to November 29, 2024.

Candidates who have already applied do not need to reapply but can update their OTR profile during the application period from October 18 to November 22, 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill 232 positions in the organisation.
