Nothing is finally going to announce the Community Edition of the Phone 2a later this month, which will have the same hardware.
Nothing, the UK-based smartphone company, is set to launch its first Community Edition smartphone on October 30. The Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition is the result of a six-month collaboration with the company’s fan community, who contributed to the device’s hardware, wallpaper, packaging design and marketing campaign.

The final design showcases a unique “Phosphorescence” concept, featuring a striking green finish that glows in the dark.
The first stage of development, which commenced in March, finalized the hardware design, showcasing a glowing radium pattern on the rear. The launch teaser for the new device even highlights a luminous firefly design on the back. Stage 2 which started in May was centered on wallpaper design. The winning concept, titled “Connected Collection,” will be pre-installed on the Phone (2a) Community Edition.

Furthermore, Stage 3 in June focused on Packaging Design, which connected the hardware and wallpaper designs from stages 1 and 2. “Less is More” with a green theme was picked as the winner among all entries.
Lastly, Stage 4 in July this year focused on the marketing campaign which included a creative concept to market the Phone (2a) Community Edition. “Find your light. Capture Your Light” was chosen as the winner.
NOTHING PHONE 2A FEATURES
The new Phone 2a version might look different from the outside but is expected to remain the same as the standard Nothing Phone (2a) which was unveiled in March this year. The original model featured a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC under the hood.
On the optics front, the device is equipped with a dual 50MP camera at the back and a 32MP front camera for clear pictures and video calls. As for the battery, the device packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Connectivity features include Dual 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. Additionally, it is IP54 dust and water-resistant.
The Nothing Phone (2a) currently costs Rs 27,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant. However, the pricing for the Community Edition is yet to be revealed.
