Audi has officially lifted the curtain on its latest electric coupe-SUV offerings, the Q6 Sportback e-tron and the performance-driven SQ6 Sportback e-tron, just ahead of the 2024 Paris Motor Show. These newcomers build upon the foundation laid by their SUV sibling, the Q6 e-tron, but with a more aerodynamic design.

The Q6 Sportback e-tron, a sloped-roof version of the 2025 Q6 e-tron SUV, features a roofline that’s 1.5 inches lower, reducing its drag coefficient to a slick 0.26 – an improvement over the SUV’s 0.28. This aerodynamic adjustment allows for a maximum range of up to 656 km.
Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron: Battery and performance
Powertrain options for the new Q6 Sportback models include a choice between two battery packs and various power outputs. The entry-level version boasts an 83 kWh battery and a rear-mounted motor generating 288 hp, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7 seconds with a range of 545 km. Meanwhile, customers seeking more power and range can opt for the performance model, which sports a larger 100 kWh battery and a stronger motor delivering 322 hp, shaving the 0-100 kmph sprint down to 6.6 seconds and extending the range to 656 km.

For those who need extra traction and quicker acceleration, the Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro comes equipped with dual motors generating 383 horsepower, enabling it to reach 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds. At the top of the range, the SQ6 Sportback e-tron with 510 horsepower, rocketing to 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds and achieving a top speed of 230 kmph. It offers a range of 607 km.
Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron: Cabin and interiors
Inside, the Q6 Sportback e-tron features a 14.5-inch infotainment system and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, both powered by Android Automotive OS. There’s also a display for the front co-passenger. Besides that, Audi has deployed its AI-driven voice assistant, enhanced by ChatGPT, which recognizes over 800 commands.
Practicality, often a weak spot for coupe-SUVs, is surprisingly strong in the Q6 Sportback. It offers a 511-litre boot, which can expand to 1,373 litres with the rear seats folded, and a 64-liter frunk for extra storage. Additionally, the Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro has a towing capacity of up to 2,400 kg.

Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron: Pricing
The base Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron with a 83 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive starts at €65,900 (Rs 60.50 lakh). The performance variant costs €71,200 (Rs 65.43 lakh). The Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro is priced at €77,100 (Rs 70.76 lakh), while the SQ6 Sportback e-tron starts at €96,200 (Rs 88.33 lakh).
