Kawasaki has rolled out the 2024 iteration of its popular cruiser, the Vulcan S, in India, with a price tag of Rs 7.10 lakh, ex-showroom. This means that the price for the model remains unchanged. In fact, the model remains unchanged in terms of everything including the design, hardware, features and mechanicals. Now, what has changed here is that it now comes with a fresh colour option namely, the Pearl Matte Sage Green.
It continues to be powered by a 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, generating 61 hp and a peak torque of 62.4 Nm. The powerhouse comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The Vulcan S combines classic low-slung cruiser design with modern elements, featuring a rounded headlamp cluster, blacked-out finish for the swingarm, rear frame components, rear suspension, and alloy wheels. It has a semi-digital console but continues to miss out on Bluetooth connectivity.
The bike’s suspension setup includes 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both wheels with dual channel ABS for added safety. It also rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, contributing to its distinctive stance. Key dimensions include a 14-litre fuel tank, 235kg kerb weight, a low 705mm seat height, and 130mm of ground clearance, ensuring a comfortable and stable riding experience.
