Candidates will be able to apply for Jamia Millia Islamia PhD Admissions 2024 on the official website – admission.jmi.ac.in, until October 30.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University recently issued a notice informing prospective candidates to apply for admission to various Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses for the academic session 2024-25. According to the notice, candidates can apply for the PhD program from tomorrow, October 10 by visiting the official website at admission.jmi.ac.in. The last date to register for the same is October 30.

“Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. programs should apply online from 10.10.2024 to 30.10.2024 at https://admission.jmi.ac.in. The schedule for entrance tests will be notified separately. Applicants are advised to regularly visit https://admission.jmi.ac.in for updates,” reads the official notice.
Candidates should remember that there will be a separate announcement on the official website on the entrance exam schedule. It is recommended that candidates monitor the website for information on entrance exams.

JMI PhD Admission 2024: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website at admission.jmi.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the “JMI PhD Admission 2024 Registration” link once activated.
Step 3: As a new window opens, key in the required details and register yourself on the portal.
Step 4: After completing the basic registration, log in to the account and fill out the application form as directed.
Step 5: To complete the process, upload all the essential documents and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Before submitting the form, crosscheck the details.
JMI PhD Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for research, the candidate must have earned a Second Class Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent of the possible points from an accredited university or a degree that the university deems equivalent.
Jamia Millia Islamia provides a wide range of PhD programs in several fields. These include studies on Dalits and Minorities, Development Extension, Environmental Science and Management, Design and International Studies with an emphasis on Arab-Islamic culture.
In addition, the university offers PhD research opportunities in a variety of fields, including applied psychology, biosciences, biotechnology and nanotechnology. Both interdisciplinary topics like Gender Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies and Social Exclusion as well as engineering fields like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Engineering are addressed.
