The New Delhi–Darbhanga Jn. Festival Special Express (Train No. 02262) will run from October 13, 2024, to November 27, 2024, departing every Wednesday and Sunday from New Delhi.
Northern Railway has announced the introduction of a bi-weekly festival special train between New Delhi and Darbhanga Junction in order to manage the surge in passenger traffic during the festive season.
The train, numbered 02262/02261, will operate for a total of 28 trips, providing much-needed relief for travelers.

The New Delhi–Darbhanga Jn. Festival Special Express (Train No. 02262) will run from October 13, 2024, to November 27, 2024, departing every Wednesday and Sunday from New Delhi.
The return service, Darbhanga Jn.–New Delhi Festival Special Express (Train No. 02261), will follow the same schedule, running every Wednesday and Sunday between October 13, 2024, and November 27, 2024.

Departs from New Delhi (NDLS) at 12.20 am and arrives at Darbhanga Jn. (DBG) at 11.15 pm. - Train No. 02261– Darbhanga Jn. to New Delhi
Departs from Darbhanga Jn. (DBG) at 8.15 pm and arrives at New Delhi (NDLS) at 11.20 pm.

The train will make stops at various important stations, including Govindpuri, Prayagraj Jn., Dd Upadhyaya Jn., Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra Jn., Hajipur Jn., Muzaffarpur Jn., and Samastipur Jn.
