Recent reports indicate that Disha Vakani, known for her role as Daya Ben in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, was approached by the show’s makers. It appears this isn’t the first time she has received an offer, as she was reportedly offered ₹65 crore to join ‘Bigg Boss 18‘, but she has turned the offer down.

Disha was reportedly offered the highest fee ever for a celebrity to participate in ‘Bigg Boss 18’. Currently, there has been no official statement from her regarding this decision. The makers of ‘Bigg Boss’ were eager to have her as a contestant, but it seems she has chosen to stay away from the show.
Vakani has been part of the show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ since its inception. She took a maternity break in 2017 and has not returned since, despite the makers teasing her comeback several times. Currently focused on raising her children, Disha was seen at a garba event with her family last year, participating in the aarti alongside her husband and two kids.

This season promises a unique theme called “Time Ka Tandav”.
