To accommodate the festive rush during Durga Puja, the Metro Railway Kolkata will enhance its operations significantly. On October 10 and 11, a total of 248 services will be available, with trains running until 4 am on the North-South corridor.

On Dashami (October 12), the metro will run 174 services from 1 pm to midnight to cater to the celebratory crowd.
Kicking off the festival on Sasthi (October 9), the Kolkata Metro plans to run 288 services from 6:50 am until midnight.
