Traffic Advisory: Faridabad Police issues list of routes to avoid ahead of PM Modi’s Haryana visit

Commuters were advised to choose alternative routes to avoid the restricted areas. Faridabad Police shared a detailed traffic advisory for those traveling near the Delhi-Haryana border.

Traffic Advisory affected due to PM Modi’s Palwal Rally Today: Traffic in parts of Delhi-NCR was severely affected on Tuesday due to travel restrictions imposed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Haryana’s Palwal district. Several commuters took to social media to express their frustration over traffic jams and diversions.

In anticipation of the visit, Faridabad Police issued a travel advisory, restricting the entry of both heavy and light motor vehicles (LMVs) into Palwal from Faridabad and Delhi during key hours. The restrictions primarily impacted vehicles traveling on the Agra-Mathura Highway (NH-44), according to reports.

Key points of the advisory

– No vehicles were allowed to enter Palwal via NH-44 from Faridabad or Delhi between 9 am and 6 pm, as reported by News9live

– Commuters were encouraged to use alternative routes such as the Bypass Road via IMT Chowk and Fatehpur-Mandkol-Palwal Road

In Delhi, heavy vehicle breakdowns further compounded traffic woes, particularly on Mathura Road, Ring Road, and Outer Ring Road. Delhi Traffic Police alerted commuters about these disruptions via the social media platform X, advising caution and alternate route choices.
