DU announces mop-up round for UG admissions, registration ends today – Here’s how to apply at du.ac.in

Colleges will conduct selections and grant admissions from October 3 (2 PM) to October 5 (5 PM), while the final date for fee payment is October 6, 2024, by 5 PM.

The University of Delhi (DU) has started a mop-up round for undergraduate admissions to fill the remaining vacant seats in select programmes and colleges. The list of available seats was published on September 27, 2024, at 5 PM. Candidates can view the vacancies on the official DU admissions website at admissions.uod.ac.in.

The registration window for the DU UG mop-up round opened on September 27 at 5 PM and will close on September 29, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Candidates can submit applications for available programmes and colleges from September 30 (5 PM) to October 2, 2024 (11:59 PM).

Steps to register for DU UG Mop-Up Round 2024

1. Visit the official website at ugadmission.uod.ac.in/mopup 

2. Click on ‘New Registration’ on the homepage.

3. Complete your profile by entering the required details.

4. Ensure that all academic information is accurate.

5. Select your preferred programs and colleges.

6. Await approval from the chosen college and proceed with fee payment to finalize your admission.

7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Registration fees

– General/EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 250

– SC/ST/PwBD: Rs 100

Candidates who have previously registered through the CSAS portal are exempt from paying the registration fee. For new registrations, the fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility criteria

Admissions will be based on the merit score of the qualifying examination, in accordance with program-specific eligibility criteria. Students who have not yet secured admission to any DU college or program are encouraged to apply through the mop-up admission portal.

This mop-up round provides a final opportunity for students who have not secured admission in earlier rounds to fill vacant seats across various undergraduate programs at DU.
